Park Slope, 1901

A romanesque revival adapted for a family of five.  In conjunction with a restoration of the historic interiors and an extension to expand the kitchen, our mandate was to bring warmth and vitality to the space.

Wyckoff St, 1899

An early Common Bond Design interiors project in Brooklyn. Our client, a young doctor at the start of her medical career, entrusted us with converting the cozy 3rd floor apartment of a Brooklyn brownstone into a refuge.

El Reloj, 1910

The historic restoration of the last remaining cigar factory in Ybor City, once known as Cigar City - the global capital of production, for a 4th generation family of cigar markers opening their factory to the public.

J.C.N. Headquarters, 1910

A complete overhaul of a cigar makers’ Ybor City offices that spanned, and sought to reflect the vernacular, of both the factory’s original 1910 footprint and a 1960s extension.

Upper East Side, 1883

The historically-sensitive renovation of one of Manhattan’s rare brownstone apartment buildings. The project juxtaposes the clients’ collection of antiques with contemporary and modern acquisitions in sculptural silhouettes.

Sanchez y Haya, 1910

A restaurant, cigar bar and 11-room inn across the street from El Reloj. Originally opened to accommodate cigar workers, it will be restored to its original function, while also introducing visitors to the rich history of the neighborhood.

East Falls, 1962

An evolving collaboration with long-time clients. Our initial phase was to make a geometric mid-century modern building with large expanses of glass reflects the wooded lots’ dense greenery.
